Based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, Hamish is excited for the REINZ Auctioneer Challenge 2025. Hamish sees that each year, the competition gets tougher, but contestants keep signing up for the challenge.

He loves seeing the auctioneers “chasing a great auction call.” Hamish enjoys the professional and social networks in the NZ auction fraternity and loves watching the unique, diverse styles and the humour the event brings. He is passionate and thrives in negotiating cash offers in the auction forum.

Outside of work, Hamish enjoys fishing with his sons, handcraft challenges with his daughter, and is always keen for a game of Touch rugby with friends and family.
