John has been in the industry nigh on 21 years and has been an auctioneer for the last 15 years. His passion for auctioneering is evident, having competed for 10 years in the REINZ auctioneering championships, and twice making it to the Australasian championships.

John’s passion for auctions is evident in all of his calls. He wants to share his knowledge and what he’s been taught back to all auctioneers, and he’s honoured to have been asked once again by his mentor, Mark Sumich, to return to the judging panel for the 2025 REINZ National Auctioneering Championships.
